Why we give.

God is generous and so he calls us to be as well.  What we do with what God has given us shows the world where our hearts are at and helps proclaim the gospel. We want to glorify God with every area of our lives, and that includes what we do with our finances.

Where Does It Go?

Your generous gifts are a cornerstone for our church and community programs. 

Offerings

Church Budget
Most of what we do at Busselton Adventist is paid for from the Church Budget.
Our fiscal year runs 1st January through 31st December.
Let us know if you have any questions about our local church budget.
Offerings are a free will donation to help the local church function.

If you have a specific intention for your gift, we strictly honour that request.

Offerings
  • Community Services - We value supporting our community.
  • Evangelism - Reaching all with the Gospel is what we are called to.
  • Capital Improvements - We seek to maintain and improve our facility.
  • General - All the other boring stuff, like power, water insurance etc.

Tithe

Biblical tithe is 10% of your profit.
  • According to Malachi 3, tithing is not giving but simply returning the portion of our increase God says is His.
  • We send 100% of the tithes to the Western Australia Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
  • Your tithe returns to our church and pays our pastor and a portion supports evangelism.
  • The Western Australia Conference of Seventh-day Adventists operates on about 80 cents of every tithed dollar.
  • The remaining 20% of tithe supports other areas of denominational work.
